Cinco De Mayo
On Saturday May 4, 2024 at EL CHARRITO Mexican Restaurant and Event Center located at 9002 Pacific Ave. Tacoma, WA 98444, We are having a CINCO de MAYO FESTIVAL, CAR SHOW & LATINO BUISNESS EXPO. Several Businesses have already confirmed during the day inside the Restaurant doing demonstrations of their Business. Outside a DJ as well as local culture Latino Performers and a Car Show. Inside you will also enjoy some special Salsa Dance Demonstrations. This event start at 11am until 7pm. We then switch gears and do an after party and the kickoff for NOCHE SUAVE SUAVECITO 8pm to 2am with Special Performers and Tejano, Latin Pop and Old School by DJ REMI of LA MAXIMA Spanish Radio.
This is the Official Celebration for Pierce County / Tacoma, WA.
All donations will be made to LULAC National Organization for the benefit of “Cinco de Mayo Car Show”, a non-profit 501-C3.

Champ Garret Simmon Interview
Cortez productions presents garret “Good Night” Simon in 2009 where he won championship title in Washington State. Was also named “golden boy” meaning the best -fighter in the state pound for pound. Abe Cortez and Barbara Cortez of Cortez Productions have been following Garret’s career. He has been training at summit boxing with Ken Smith since he was 6 years old.
